Asbestos/Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a rare and deadly cancer that impacts individuals in every state. The majority of asbestos cases in the United States are linked to asbestos exposure from some of the thousands of asbestos products that were used throughout the country until the 1970s.

Although the use of this naturally occurring mineral has been greatly curtailed, thousands of Americans continue to be exposed to dangerous amounts of asbestos at work and in contaminated buildings. This exposure may lead to the development of a variety of serious health problems, including mesothelioma.
